Welcome to Cley

Cley is a parish in the District of North Norfolk. Our Parliamentary Constituency is North Norfolk. There are currently 375 residents on the electoral role. The Parish Council has 7 members and a part time Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer.

The Parish Council is responsible for:​

  • The Allotments

  • The Village Notice Board and Village Benches

  • The Public Toilet located in the Village Hall car park

  • The Quay

  • Newgate Green

  • Two SAM 2 devices

  • The Village Defibrillator located on the Village Hall.

  • The Cley Heritage Walk 

  • Cley Gateways

  • Commenting on Planning Applications

Noise Disturbances 

If you are disturbed by a loud noise or nuisance (loud music, alarms etc.) at night then this can be reported to North Norfolk District Council for further investigation.
